Antinori Blanc de Blancs Franciacorta Brut N.V.
The Montenisa estate is located around the hamlet of Calino, near Lake Iseo in the heart of the Franciacorta appellation. The vineyards surrounding the Maggi family’s own villa have been the heart of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta production since 1999.
The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in bottle and the wine remains on its lees for 24 months before de-fermentation.Light yellow colour with creamy bubbles, elegant and persistently sparkling. The nose is aromatic and expressive with fruity and floral notes reminiscent of apples and white peaches. The flavours are vibrant and fresh with fine balance and perceptible elegance and finesse. The ideal temperature for serving the wine is between 45° and 48° Fahrenheit (7°-9° Celsius).
Pairs well with hors d’oeuvres, as an aperitif and with fish. Its vibrant freshness makes it a perfect wine as an after-dinner drink too.
