Since 1993, Château Tronquoy-Lalande has produced a second selection, Tronquoy de Saint-Anne, named after a historic estate parcel. Composed mainly of Merlot and then Cabernet Sauvignon, and vinified with the same care as Grand Vin, it can represent up to 20% of the total vintage. This is a round and smooth wine, extraordinarily aromatic and more immediate charm than the older one.

Varieties: Merlot 68%, Cabernet Sauvignon 32%

Tasting notes:

Expressive on the nose, with subtle vanilla notes. Good flavour structure with nice fruity notes and silky tannins. Round and smooth, with a nice dose of peppery spice, it is now at its peak drinkability! Perfect match for truffle omelette, duck confit, lamb, poultry, roasted white mushrooms and truffle omelette.
