Saumur Blanc from Langlois-Chateau in the Val de Loire wine region of France is a full-bodied, elegant and varietal white wine vinified from Chenin Blanc.
\nIn the glass this wine has a light straw yellow with shimmering reflections. Intense aromas of exotic fruits – especially passion fruit – juicy peaches and floral notes of white flowers enchant the nose. On the palate, the prelude starts off spicy at first, then develops into a lovely full-bodied fruitiness. The pleasantly long finish is accompanied by notes of citrus fruits.<\/p>\n
Aged on fine lees for 4 to 6 months with batonnage or stirring until bottling in the spring. It shows citrus notes and exotic fruits on the nose and palate.<\/p>\n
