Terroir: In the heart of the M\u00e2con wine region, south of Burgundy. The two villages of Vir\u00e9 and Cless\u00e9 form a unique ‘terroir’ on slopes facing south-east.<\/p>\n
In Vir\u00e9, the soil is limestone with large layers of clay. At Cless\u00e9, the soil structure is slightly different, with a combination of chalk and clay mixed with liassic marls combined with oyster fossils that impart a specific minerality to the wine.<\/p>\n
This is one of the best white wines in the region, combining softness and minerality.<\/p>\n
Vintage 2019: The white wines are well-balanced with notes of exotic and fleshy fruits.
\nChanson Vir\u00e9-Cless\u00e9 2019 has a pale golden colour. On the nose, there are refreshing floral aromas mixed with exotic fruits and a hint of minerality.<\/p>\n
On the palate, it’s well-balanced, dense and precise. The finish is refreshing with mineral nuances.
