Prosecco takes its name from a quaint hilltop town near Trieste, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
\nZONIN1821 has established itself as one of the most important wine producers in the world.<\/p>\n
It works according to the simple philosophy that “Each region has its own traditions and its own wines”<\/p>\n
After careful pressing of the grapes, the resulting must is divided into two batches: half undergoes an initial fermentation at 64\u00b0F, while the rest is stored at 32\u00b0F and kept unfermented.<\/p>\n
Later, the must is combined and, following the traditional Charmat method, transferred to stainless steel tanks under pressure, where the wine acquires its famous sparkling properties.<\/p>\n
This sparkling wine is refined and elegant, enhanced by pleasant fruit notes.<\/p>\n
On the palate it is dry and pleasantly fruity with a fresh, aromatic note on the finish; revealing plenty of almonds and hints of fresh citrus.<\/p>\n
