Created from the interaction between the Antinori family’s expertise and the demonstrated high viticultural quality of a given territory, Franciacorta, the “Classics” – Marchese Antinori Cuv\u00e9e Royale, Ros\u00e9 and Blanc de blancs – are produced from a selection of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes.
\nThe Montenisa estate is located around the hamlet of Calino, near Lake Iseo in the heart of the Franciacorta appellation. The vineyards surrounding the Maggi family’s own villa have been the heart of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta production since 1999.
\nThe must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in bottle and the wine remains on its lees for 24 months before de-fermentation.
\nThe nose is fragrant and resolute in terms of personality and is characterised by unmistakable aromas of dried wild flowers attributed to the character of Pinot Noir. The palate shows a spicy freshness in perfect balance with the structure of a wine with noticeable harmony and elegance. The balance and harmony of this ros\u00e9 make it a perfect accompaniment to a seafood dinner and shellfish, pigeon or white meat in general.
