Wine tour in Sofia
A walk in Sofia or a glass of wine with friends ?
Why choose between the two when you can have both? Yes, we offer you to taste the most aromatic wine in the company of your choice. And no, we won’t be stuck in a bar. We will go through three locations in the center of Sofia. You can tell your mom you went on a history walk, and you can tell your friends you’re going to drink wine.
The tour is a suitable gift for birthday, bachelorette party and team-building.
What to expect ?
A special wine tour in Sofia with a certified sommelier guide. Includes visits to three different tasting locations – 2 wine bars/shops and 1 restaurant.
The experience includes tasting of 6 Bulgarian wines (2 in each of the three venues and 50 ml of wine each) mostly from local Bulgarian varieties. As the aim of the tour is to be a unique experience for each customer, the selection of wines will be made by the sommelier according to the guests’ preferences and therefore a prior request will be arranged by email. Tapas are served at two of the sites, but no dinner is provided.
Where does the wine walk start ?
The meeting point for the start of the tour is from the Russian Monument Square, town. The start of the tour will be at the Monument of St. Petersburg.
The tour can be conducted in Bulgarian and English.
Monday through Friday the tour starts at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 5:00 pm.
The wine walk lasts about 2.5-3.5 hours without a precise time frame, with the idea of becoming an individual and unforgettable experience for the guests.
The total walking distance is about 30-40 minutes, but it is divided into three stages between the different locations and each stage is about 10-15 minutes.
