The Vinyarets range of organic wines is an invitation to discover the traditional vineyards of Penedès and a tribute to their origins and winemaking heritage.
These are wines produced from local varieties that show the diversity, richness and uniqueness of this ancient land, a mosaic of vines located between the sea and the mountains that form niches of exceptional beauty.
The grapes come from small, well-established organic vines over 30 years old, grown mainly using traditional bush cultivation on chalky clay soils. Most are 350-400 metres above sea level in the Font-Rubí area.
The idea behind Vinyarets is to bring together the varietal essence and organoleptic profiles of the wines of Penedès and present them to the world in all their authenticity.
Each wine is a snapshot of the place the Torres call home, capturing the culture, history and living heritage of our ancestors and their viticultural practices.
Familia Torres Vinarets Blanco Penedes 2022 has a bright, pale yellow colour. On the nose a fresh, delicate aroma with citrus notes of grapefruit is revealed. Very clean on the palate, enveloped by a hint of subtle, refreshing fruity acidity.
Familia Torres Vinarets Blanco Penedes 2022 is highly recommended with hors d’oeuvres and rice dishes. An excellent pairing with fish, especially halibut or swordfish with vegetable garnish, it also pairs perfectly with recipes including fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.
