Miguel Torres Santa Digna Carmener 2019
Region: Central Valley
Variety: Carmener
The name Santa Digna is given to the crosses marking the district boundaries of a land. These crosses served to demarcate territories and symbolized good luck and protection for those who left for other lands.
The wine has a cherry colour and on the nose there are soft aromas of blackberry and balsamic notes of eucalyptus, finishing with a delicious hint of tangerine. On the palate it expresses elegance, soft tannins delivering nuances of leather and spice. Aging in French oak provides a nice toasty background. It is successfully combined with red meat, soup, roasted fish.
