The grapes come from small, selected organic vineyards in the Penedès with different ages, altitudes and microclimates that grow on different soil types. They are located in the sub-zones of the Alts d’Ancosa – the highest and coldest zone in the appellation – as well as the Costers de l’Anoia, Turons de Vilafranca, Costers del Montmell and Vall Bitlles-Anoia. The location and balance of these subzones makes them optimal for the development of each variety.
The wine has a ruby colour with purple highlights. The nose is seductive, elegant and deliciously fruity (raspberry jam) with a hint reminiscent of pomegranate. Silky and light on the palate, supple, with tannins that are soft and aromatic in texture, enveloped by a fine fruity acidity.
Very versatile and an ideal companion for all appetizers and dishes. Recommended for light dishes and sausages, tuna, carpaccio and tapas, as well as pasta and risotto.
