At the age of 16, Hannes made his first wine. Even then he wants to get to the bottom of things, to get everything right from being a ‘whisper of the soil’ in the vineyard to the winemaking process and finally to the bottling mechanism.
Hannes Sabathi Sunki Sauvignon Blanc 2022 has a light straw yellow colour. On the nose reveals a fruity play of gooseberry, currant leaf and red pepper aromas.
On the palate it is refreshing, with generous ripe fruit, spiciness and a long finish. It is suitable for combination with fish, seafood, sushi and fresh salads with spicy dressing.
