The wine starts the experience on the palate with a fresh attack of blackcurrant, cranberry and spice. There is a lovely balance between acidity and intensity of the fruit. There is a sense of minerality characteristic of the terroir – gravelly soils. Despite its concentration, the wine is distinguished by its naturalness and elegance. Suitable combination for red meats, aged hard cheeses and game (pheasant).
