Chateau Barrail du Blanc 0.75
Region/Appeal: Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux
Château Barrail du Blanc produces exceptional wines for their depth and texture. Owned by the same family for more than 150 years, this property is located in the commune of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens, south of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.
The vineyard, with an average age of 25 years, is planted on gravelly and clayey soils, which allow good drainage and are particularly suitable for Cabernet Franc. The grapes are treated with care by Monsieur Elies and his daughter Natalie in the vineyard and cellar.
Ploughing, green harvesting and leaf-cutting are preferred to ensure consistent fruit maturity. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and partially aged in French oak barrels (50% new). The resulting wine is charming, supple, and elegant and can be kept for five to ten years.
Varieties: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc
Tasting characteristics:

If we still feel the aroma, we add oriental spices, gingerbread spices and cocoa beans. It is wonderfully dry for wine enthusiasts. This red wine never looks rough or sparse but is round and smooth.
This fleshy and silky red wine is impressive and versatile in flavour. The finish impresses with its beautiful length. Notes of mulberry and blueberry are again present.
