Tasting characteristics:
The 2012 Latour à Pomerol is an aromatically intense wine that pleasantly spreads out in layers in the glass. There are sweet spices, tobacco, raspberry jam, mint and toasted coffee beans. The wine is elegant and well balanced between the individual nuances, abundant fruit and fine character. Very well-ripened cherries, metal, smoke and tobacco add to its exceptional complexity. Especially noticeable is the presence of Cabernet Franc.
