At the age of 16, Hannes made his first wine. Even then he wants to get to the bottom of things, to get everything right from being a ‘whisper of the soil’ in the vineyard to the winemaking process and finally to the bottling mechanism.
Very good typical Sauvignon Blanc from Styria!
Vinified in southern Austria, the grapes come from a vineyard on the border with Slovenia, which has more fertile soil. It’s spicy but with a nice hint of tropical fruit flavour.
Vibrant and reveals multiple layers of flavours on the palate. There is a hint of elderflower and a delicate hint of pepper. It is suitable for combination with fish, seafood, sushi and fresh salads with spicy dressing.
