Chanson Burgundy Chardonnay 2019

Soil: Clay and limestone
Terroir: Côte Chalonnaise, Côte d’Or and Côte de Beaune.
Vintage 2019: After a gentle pressing, the wines are aged in oak barrels for a period of 12 to 14 months in the cellar of the 15th century Domaine Chanson. New oak is used sparingly.
The wine has a pale golden colour. On the nose there are delicate floral aromas mixed with fleshy fruit (pear) and a hint of minerality. On the palate the wine is well structured, with a balance between density and elegance and a refreshing aftertaste of lemon.
Food pairings: pate, fish, sausages and lots of goat cheeses.
