Terroir : South of Burgundy, in the heart of the Mâconnais region, the production area is located in the villages of Fuissé, Solutré-Pouilly, Vergisson and Chaintré.
Vintage 2016: The white wines of Mâconnais are precise and well-balanced with well-formed minerality. Partially aged in oak barrels (demi-muids) for 10 months.
The wine has a pale yellow colour. On the nose, floral aromas mixed with citrus and white pear are revealed, with a hint of minerality. On the palate, the wine is well balanced on a dense and tight texture. There is a distinctive and well-formed minerality. The finale is long and refreshing.
Food pairings: fish, boiled pork, ‘jambon persillé’, white meat and some goat cheeses.
