The wine is lively, with a fruit profile reflecting the ageing of the blend of indigenous and international varieties in a bottle. Surprisingly for the vintage age, it was not aged in oak barrels and fully expresses varietal character. There is red fruit, minerality, earthiness and ripe and firm tannins. Suitable for pairing with red meats, slow-cooked dishes, stews and mature cheeses.
