Aloxe-Corton La Topppe Au Vert Prémier Cru Thibault Ligèr-Belair 0.75 2015
Region: Burgundy
The plot from which the grapes come is 0.31 ha and was planted in 1965. It is situated in the heart of the village of Ladoix Serrigny on the slopes southeast of the hill of Corton below Corton Vergennes. The soil has a thin-clay mechanism and moderate stoniness. This is the result of the alteration of the limestone during the formation of the Comblanshien Limestones. This type of soil creates the conditions for the root system of the vine to develop horizontally rather than in depth.
Varieties: Pinot Noir
Tasting notes:
The grapes are hand-picked and partially separated from the stems. 3 weeks fermentation with very moderate interference and delicate hat dipping.
50% of the wine is aged in new barrels for 20 months and the rest in inox containers. This wine is characterized by incredible fruit purity, finesse and expressiveness. The finish is long and remarkable.
Ideal combination with veal, terrine, game and duck.
